I scream.
You scream.
The world screams for ice cream.

It’s not quite summer time yet, but who says we need to wait for the hot weather to enjoy some ICE CREAM??? Not me! I love ice cream year round, don’t you? Am I the only one? Either way, I invite you on a journey with me to take a look at some of the most outrageous ice cream sundaes on the planet. Because, who doesn’t love a good ice cream sundae?

What is better than a scoop of delicious ice cream? How about 22 scoops, piled high with every other sugary treat under the sun?!?! This is enough sugar to make your teeth hurt, and your tummy. So, I recommend grabbing a group of several fellow ice cream enthusiasts before you intake any of these miraculous wonders.

I am listing these in no particular order, because, let’s be honest…I think they are all my favorite. Stretchy pants packed. Ready? Let’s go!

Sugar Factory – King Kong Sundae

Miracle Mile Shops
3663 S Las Vegas Blvd #1240

Sugar Factory King Kong Ice Cream Sundae Las Vegas

SF has grown to become a sugar empire and has been dubbed Candy Land for adults, but all of the sweet fun began in Las Vegas. This is the most Instagramed food item with a ton of top celebs flocking to SF to get their pic with this famous sundae. Food Network describes it as follows; “The gargantuan creation features 24 scoops of ice cream with an avalanche of insane toppings including a whole doughnut, an entire chocolate chip cookie and red velvet cake. To top it off, sparklers herald the arrival of the gut-busting mountain of ice cream.” The price tag? A mere $99. No biggie, right?

Cabot’s Ice Cream – The Great Pyramid Sundae

743 Washington St
Newtonville, MA 02460

The Great Pyramid ice cream sundae Cabot's Ice Cream

Cabot’s offers a variety of larger-than-life sundaes for your gorging pleasure, but the largest one by far boasts 60 pints of ice cream piled high in pyramid formation. To top it off, they cover it with 12 quarts of whipped cream, nuts, cherries, and other toppings. I bet the pyramids in Egypt don’t deliver like this! This massive monstrosity will set you back a whopping $259.99. Wowza!

Margie’s Candies – The Royal George Sundae

1960 N Western
Chicago, IL 60647

Check out this video!

The Royal George ala George packs in twenty-five scoops of ice cream of your choosing, topped with whipped cream, nuts and cherries, plus sugar cones and several gravy bowls of different syrups for good measure. All served in a grand punch bowl. At only $50, this one seems like a bargain!

Dylan’s Candy Bar – I Bet You Can’t Eat This Sundae

1011 Third Ave (at 60th St.)
New York, NY 10065

Dylan's Candy Bar giant I Bet You Can't Eat This ice cream sundae

Dylan’s has several locations throughout the US, but the 3rd Ave location in NYC is the original. They are known as being one of the top candy stores around, but this sundae right here. Whew! It starts off with brownies, graham crackers, Oreo cookies, and chocolate covered marshmallows. Then they pile on 10 scoops of ice cream, your choice of flavors, along with waffle cones and a boat load of toppings like sprinkles, M&Ms, cotton candy, various lollipops, and syrup upon syrups…and MORE CANDY BARS! And it’s only $40. What a steal!

Mo & Moshi – Giant Sundaes

979 Rama I Road
Siam Center 2nd floor
Room no. H408 & 433
Pathum Wan, Bangkok 10330, Thailand

You might have to travel half way across the world to get your hands on this one, but I would say it’s worth it. Splurging 22 scoops of ice cream, six mini waffles, layers of cake, three packages of strawberry pocky sticks, fruit, whipped cream, and more. But there’s not just one giant sundaw flavor option here. Mo & Moshi offers several bigger-than-life flavor concoctions to choose from! Strawberry Supreme, Candy Celebration, Chocolate Parfait, Delicious Decadence, Parfait Celebration, Serious Sorbet, and more! This experience costs around $87 and looks to be worth every penny.

Jaxon’s – The Kitchen Sink Sundae

128 S Federal Hwy,
Dania Beach, FL 33004

Jaxon's Kitchen Sink ice cream sundae

We’ve heard the saying “everything but the kitchen sink”. Well, this sundae actually includes the kitchen sink too! “Jaxson’s serves one of the biggest sundaes you’ve ever seen. The titular sink ($13.95 per person) is exactly what it sounds like: a kitchen sink filled with 40 scoops of ice cream and nearly unlimited side-cars of homemade toppings. Tackle it as a group (the restaurant will only serve it to parties of four or larger), and you’ll trigger a siren if you manage to finish.”, according to an article on www.seriouseats.com. So, the price on this one is at least $56 for a party of four. However, I think it would take way more than four people to finish this one off!

Outrageous Ice Cream Sundaes

So, that wraps up this edition of yumminess. I have to know, have you ever tackled any of these crazy concoctions? If so, tell me about your experience in the comments. If not, which one would you go for first? I don’t know that I could choose. That would be like asking a mom to choose her favorite child. Sort of impossible, because we love them all the same!
