Hey, hey, hey!!! This is my first post for my new category Daily Life with Jessi. While I am obsessed with travel, food, and all that jazz, I have recently developed a strong desire to blog about my daily life. Why? I’m not sure yet. But the desire is strong and I have decided to follow it. But I have to warn you. These posts won’t always be pretty. That’s not real life. I will talk honestly about the good, bad, and everything in between. As with everything I write about, I hope my daily rantings and window into my life makes you laugh and feel better about yourself…but most of all, I hope I inspire you to live your best life. Whatever that looks like. Okay. Let’s do this.Daily Life with Jessi

Short and Sweet…Mostly

My intention is to blog about my daily life here at least 4-5 days a week. Maybe more, maybe less. These posts will most likely be fairly short and sweet and to the point. But I make no promises. This is like therapy to me. Soooo, maybe I will go on and on and on sometimes. Who knows? All I know is running this blog is cheaper than a therapist! 🙂

A Little About Me

I’m married and have been with my husband for 15 years. This is my second marriage. I have three awesome kiddos (well, mostly awesome – they are human, after all, and therefore come with flaws as we all do). My oldest daughter is from my first marriage and my husband and I have boy/girl twins. You’ll get to know them as we move along in the blog…

Happy Birthday to Me (and everyone else in my house)

So, yesterday was my birthday. I will go ahead and say it. I’m the big 46! Not sure how I feel about that. I don’t feel old, as age is just a number…right? I feel like I’m just getting started. But honestly, I feel like I’ve wasted a lot of years in my life trying to fit in. I definitely notice that I am less concerned with what others think these days, but I’m not totally free of the desire to “fit it” just yet. But I’m working on it. We’ll talk about this more as well.

Our twins celebrated their birthday four days before mine, and my husband’s birthday is four days after mine. It’s freaking #birthdaypalooza around here! We did lots of celebrating this past weekend with family and friends and I’m super thankful. #goodtimes

Daily Life with Jessi – Keeping it Real

While this post is a quick introduction to Daily Life with Jessi, and all seems well…there are many things I plan to share that are not quite so “Leave it To Beaver-ish”. I am blessed and my life is good. No complaints. Well, not too many complaints. Ha! I have some crap to work through and this is where I’m going to do it. So, grab a snack and maybe a glass of wine (or whatever does it for you), and stay tuned. This is going to get interesting.

Living the life,
